The module puts a single gallery into a module position, exactly the same way the plugin (on the home page) puts a gallery into a Joomla article.

1.Download and install the module as you would any other Joomla extension. From the module manager click on the "Ignite Gallery Module".

2.On the left hand side there are the standard options for a Joomla module.

3.There is only one paramater specific to this module and that is the gallery ID on the right hand side. On the component main list each gallerie’s id is shown in the id column. Copy the number of the gallery you want to show into the module option on the right.

4. Choose save and the gallery will appear in you chosen module position (on the pages you have enabled the module for). If the same gallery is put on one page twice, the galleries will not work. (You can have different galleries on the same page, but not the same gallery twice on one page.) If you want to have one gallery twice, you will have to make 2 galleries with identical pictures. This will probably be the case anyway, as it is unlikely you will want the module gallery and the plugin/component gallery to be the same size.

5. If you want to use the module to display another gallery, choose Joomla’s module manager, select the Ignite Gallery module, and choose the copy button. Now you have a seperate module to use for another gallery. You can do this as many times as you want.

5. If you are looking for a random image module this module will not be of much use. However, because the Ignite Gallery component uses a seperate folder for each gallery, you can download another random image module from the Image Rotator section of the Joomla Extensions Directory. A lot of these extensions let you choose a folder to get the images from. Ignite Gallery puts the gallery images into images/stories/igallery/gallery-name/large/. So if you select the correct folder then the image rotator will work with the Ignite Gallery images.
